Aurora Counseling and Coaching for Women

Counseling

Hi!  I am happy you found me! Starting counseling is usually not an easy decision.   Visit the About Me page for more on my 18+ years of experience in the field of counseling.  I have a passion for helping people, "get to the other side" of whatever they are going through.

I am sensitive to your hesitancy, while also ready to help you through whatever you are going through.  I hope to offer help and support, Insight and a safe place to talk.  Seeing my clients feel better, and find freedom in their lives, after working hard in therapy is very satisfying.

Specializing in women's issues is a fulfillment of a passion I have had for a long time. I treat clients for;

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Perfectionism
  • Compulsive behaviors
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma
  • Low-self esteem
  • Addictions
  • Difficult relationships
  • Bi-polar depression
  • Burnout
  • And a range of other concerns.

Coaching

Coaching is a service that I provide that is future oriented. This service provides an environment for you to explore your goals.  This is for the client who is stuck spinning her wheels in regards to goals or desires.  Sometimes we can't move forward in the way we want to. Coaching can help you to define your needs and to get you out of your rut.

Let me help you move forward!

Support and guidance with a trained and compassionate professional can help you through whatever challenges you face.

Request Appointment

To schedule an appointment or to obtain additional information about services, please use the request appointment form (Click on words in bold to move the link) or give me a call at 720-984-2123. I am happy to talk with you for a few minutes and answer your questions. Counseling is a relationship, and it is important that you feel comfortable.

Some good questions to ask a potential counselor:

What type of counseling approach do you use?

How long have you been counseling?

Are you licensed?  Do you maintain your license with continuing education courses?

Any other question you feel like asking just to get a sense for how you feel about starting up a counseling relationship with that counselor.

Why this is important;  Not all counselors are the same and have varied approaches and varied level of training and experience.

The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write, and draw, and build, and play, and dance, and live as only you can.
— Neil Gaiman
